The common conception of the Bible is that it is a literal book of non-fictional stories consisting of characters that once walked the earth.
The most popular characters are Adam and Eve, Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Mary, and the most famous one: Jesus.
Jesus is known to be the son of God and the central personality in Christianity. Many accept the belief that Jesus provides salvation and eternal life to those who believe He is the “son of God”.
However, what if I told you that this is not who Jesus is at all? What if I shake up your belief system a little bit?
Christ Consciousness is a new age spiritual movement that denotes the higher level of consciousness that Jesus in the Bible had. Christ consciousness is open to everyone and the most regarded in our spiritual evolution.
Essentially, the Bible is talking about you, and your own evolution.
To further explain, The characters in the Bible represent our states of mind, and according to this same mindset, “Christ” was not a person, but the highest level of consciousness we can reach as humans.
Christ (Christ consciousness) is within us all and if we do the work, we can reach that higher state.
When we speak of Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all these characters – they aren’t persons as we are; they are states of consciousness, and the individuals are only representative or visions of these eternal states.
