Five Spiritual Truths You’ll Learn Over Time

In the spiritual world, we are presented with certain

information that may throw us off our journeys; simply

because we are taught that there are only a few truths that

are set in stone. For example, spiritual people are constantly

told to be happy all the time in order to be blessed. This is

simply not reasonable, because on an everyday basis

humans are faced with the harsh realities of the world

(especially black people). This example is a small insight into

the type of brainwashing techniques of the New Age

philosophies. In this article, we are unlearning what we’ve

been thought.

Here Are Five Spiritual Truths

You’ll Learn Over Time:

1. The real purpose of meditation is to separate you from

your own mind, not for getting you more into it.

The human mind is filled with so much clutter and noise,

and meditation is the key to silence the sound by getting you

to step out of it, not “going within”. Meditation gets all the

praise because it is a tool for the advancement of the mind,

with the mind being our most powerful asset.

2. How you do anything, is how you do everything. ALL of

your habits are an expression of your inner state.

Simply stated, a passionate person’s passion is reflected

through all that they do. Their passion has no on/off button,

and they have an optimistic view on life. This is because

passion is a strong energy that fuels our lives; if we are low

on passion, chances are we feel depressed, and when our

passion is high, we are at our happiest. Put (Love + Care +

Thought = Passion) into every facet of your life, and watch

everything change for the better.

3. You can learn something from everything and

everywhere. Keeping an open mind is the key to spiritual

enlightenment.

Do you reject messages that are inspiring simply because

you don’t like the messenger? This is a common thing to do,

and while you may think that you are aligning with your

morals by doing so; in actuality denying a message because

of the messenger is an act of closed-mindedness. Life is a

school and everybody is your teacher!

4. There are no destinations in life, it is one long journey.

In life, it may feel like you have to do ________, in order to

reach ________. That is the pattern of life as we’re told.

However, there is no such thing as a destination in this

rollercoaster life, it is a long-winding road and should be

seen a such.

5. Growing up is a scam; maintain a child-like mind for

everlasting health and happiness.

We are constantly told: “grow up!” However, what does

growing up entail? Does it mean we should sink into routine

and mediocrity? Or to let go of our passions and interests in

order to be a “proper” adult?
